THE STORY
When the fruit does not fall
away from the tree
When the fruit does not fall far from the tree

Olive harvesting, has always been a ritual, in the family. The end of summer marked the beginning of a new adventure: the time when charged with hope and enthusiasm, we would harvest the fruits that had been tended by Dad and grandparents during the year.
I remember the olive harvest as days filled with convivial moments, folk tales, and daydreams as our hands, one by one, gently dropped the olives onto the green net. We picciriddi used to climb the centuries-old trees wishing we could build a little wooden house there, perhaps, someday…
The older ones, sitting on the most comfortable stone, used to divide the leaves from the olives as a “pastime.” But most of all, the memory I will never be able to forget is the smell of freshly baked warm bread on which freshly pressed oil was dropped, drop by drop.
It started again
all for fun,
in the family,
in the garden
of red house...
to the discovery
of green gold!

Buy our oil
Our extra virgin olive oil is characterized by a harmonious balance between the different local varieties: the Nocellara del Belice, Biancolilla and Cerasuola. The fusion of the three varieties presents a rich flavor profile, with fruity and slightly spicy notes, and an almond aftertaste. It is produced in a unique landscape setting, where the Mediterranean climate and fertile soil contribute to an oil of the highest quality.
